This service provides legal assistance for family law matters such as divorce, custody, modifications or enforcement of final court orders, grandparent visitation, and guardianship for both minors and adults. Services are available at the Matheson Courthouse (450 South State Street) and the West Jordan Courthouse (8080 South Redwood Road, Room 2501).
Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted online at: https://legalaidsocietyofsaltlake.org/divorce-custody

- Applicants must have an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence eligible at up to 300%. Additionally, the case must be able to be filed in Salt Lake County.
