Salt Lake City Main Library - Homeless Resource Corner

The drop-in center for the homeless is situated exclusively at the downtown main library. Social workers at the library offer basic case management to individuals facing homelessness and provide snacks, clothing vouchers, vouchers for state ID and birth certificates, hygiene supplies, and assistance with certification forms. The case management services involve collaborating with community partners to coordinate homeless services, helping individuals enroll in benefits and housing programs, arranging medical and dental care, assisting with justice court searches, and providing employment support. Additionally, transportation is offered to hospitals, the Volunteers of America's Detoxification Center, and domestic violence shelters within Salt Lake County.
