Wasatch Community Gardens

This initiative provides farm-based job opportunities, training for work readiness, job placement support, and mentoring for women who are facing or experiencing homelessness. Utilizing a cohort-based approach, it emphasizes the strength of women collaborating in groups. Participants engage in on-the-job training and attend weekly workshops focused on life and job skills, which aid in skill development, enhance existing abilities, foster strong work ethics, boost confidence, and help in the acquisition of essential social and emotional skills, ultimately leading to stable housing and permanent employment.
