This program offers approved medications such as methadone, buprenorphine, and vivitrol to aid individuals with opioid or alcohol use disorders in their efforts to either abstain from or decrease their consumption of opioids (typically heroin or prescription painkillers like oxycontin or morphine) or alcohol.
