• To qualify, a family's income must not exceed 80% of the area median income (AMI), their credit score should be 640 or above, and their debt-to-income ratio must be 41% or less, including the future house payment. They must not own another property and must commit to working a minimum of 35 hours per week on their group's houses, with half of the work done by those on the mortgage and the other half by their friends and family.
