Prevent Child Abuse Utah - Regional Offices

The Parents as Teachers initiative provides in-home visits aimed at educating and assisting parents. Each family is paired with a certified parent educator who conducts visits at least twice a month for an hour. During these visits, milestones are monitored, parent-child interactions are promoted through age-appropriate activities, and families are connected to community resources to address their basic needs.
