• The At-Risk Youth Petition is legally defined as a minor under 18 who satisfies at least one of three criteria: 1. Has been away from home for a minimum of 72 consecutive hours without parental approval. 2. Is uncontrollable to the extent that their actions pose a risk to their own or others' health, safety, or welfare. 3. Suffers from a substance abuse issue without any current criminal charges related to that abuse. Only a parent, defined as the individual(s) with legal custody of the child, can submit the ARY petition. For further details on At-Risk Youth or other programs, please call.
