Residents of Federal Way are authorized to obtain pet licenses, and there are no fees for senior or disabled pet licenses.
Application Process: You can apply by calling, completing an online application, or visiting city hall or the police department. Many local pet stores and veterinary offices also provide application forms.
Fees: Annual fees include $60 for unaltered dogs/cats, $25 for altered dogs (1 year), $45 for altered dogs (2 years), and $65 for altered dogs (3 years). Altered cats cost $20 for 1 year, $35 for 2 years, and $50 for 3 years. Seniors and individuals with disabilities can receive a permanent license for free if their pet is altered, and discounts are available for multi-year licenses.
