Authorized to issue pet licenses in King County for pet owners, with discounts available for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Service animal licenses are provided at no cost.
Application Process: You can complete the application online or visit a licensing office, including city offices. For further details, you can call or check the website for all licensing locations. During summer and fall, King County canvassers also offer pet licenses door to door.
Fees: The annual license fees are $60 for unaltered dogs/cats, $30 for altered dogs/cats, $15 for seniors/disabled individuals, and service animals are free.

- Pet licenses have no restrictions, but King County requires them for all dogs and cats 8 weeks or older. Discounts for seniors/disabled individuals apply if the owner is 65 or older or has a documented disability, and the pet must be altered. Service animals require documentation of the owner's disability and must also be altered.
