This service oversees a registry of lost and found pets, enforces animal regulations, and provides rescue services across King County, with the exception of Des Moines, Federal Way, Normandy Park, Renton, Seattle, and several municipalities in North King County.
Intake Procedure: Contact via phone or visit the website.
Fees: For recovery services, owners are required to pay a redemption fee. There are charges for the removal of owned animals based on available space. Adoption fees vary according to the age and species of the animal, while most animals found loose on public property incur no fees.

- Available to all residents of King County, excluding those within the city limits of Bothell, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kenmore, Kirkland, Lake Forest Park, Normandy Park, Renton, Seattle, Shoreline, and Woodinville. Residents of Federal Way should reach out to C.A.R.E.S. in Burien for animal services, while those in Kirkland should contact Everett Animal Services. Residents in Bothell, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, Shoreline, and Woodinville should connect with PAWS for shelter services.
