This service delivers transportation to low-income individuals for job-related destinations, including work, new job opportunities, employment training, and other essential appointments needed to secure or maintain employment. Additionally, it offers job opportunities for those interested in driving.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call for a screening, and we will respond within one business day. Road to Independence will inform you of your approval status. If approved, you can directly call the scheduling number, as your details will already be on record. Reservations for rides must be made at least two days in advance.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.

- To be eligible for transportation services, individuals must reside in South King County or Pierce County, have special needs, be veterans, seniors, youth, or face transportation challenges, live in areas with limited or no public transit, be able to board a large passenger van independently, be at least 18 years old, and meet income criteria.
