This initiative helps families prepare for and support the provision of a stable, long-term environment for children in foster and kinship care, facilitating placements for children of all ages from foster care.
Intake Process: Interested individuals should call or check the website. Attendance at an information session is mandatory, with dates that may vary.
Cost: There are no fees involved.

- There are no limitations based on marital status, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity, home ownership, income, or education. Prospective foster caregivers must be at least 21 years old, possess a minimum of two bedrooms, successfully complete a child abuse and criminal background check, and be capable of physically caring for a child while meeting the state’s Minimum Licensing Requirements.
