The program manages a food pantry/grocery store for the residents of Seattle, where individuals can browse and select items they require. There may be a limited supply of pet food available. Weekly home delivery services are offered, and individuals can register online to join the delivery waitlist.
Intake Procedure: For first-time registration, individuals must register in person. After the initial visit, guests are encouraged to reserve their shopping time through the website; https://www.ballardfoodbank.org/reserve. A line forms outside, and randomized numbers are distributed Monday to Thursday at 9:45 am. Arriving before 9:45 does not ensure an earlier number, and after 10 am, numbers are handed out based on arrival order. Individuals must be present when their number is called.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
