This initiative supports the income of Washington state residents, including those who are legally residing in the country, by offering food assistance. The monthly benefits depend on the household size, income level, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost during significant disasters.
Application Process: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to request an application. Once the application, whether submitted online or on paper, is processed, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview process. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. To receive assistance for food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
