This program assists Washington state residents, including legal immigrants, by offering food benefits to enhance their income. The monthly benefit amounts differ based on the household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost due to significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to request an application. After submitting either an online or paper application, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to qualify for replacing food lost in the latest disaster.
