This initiative supports individuals on DSHS public assistance in acquiring a Washington State ID card at a lower cost from the Department of Licensing. DSHS case workers will complete a form that clients can present at DOL to obtain the ID for just $5.
Intake Procedure: Reach out to or stop by any Community Service Office.
Fees: ID Card: $5.

- Eligibility extends to anyone receiving public assistance from DSHS, encompassing both financial and food assistance. Those under 25 without a permanent address can confirm their eligibility at the time of ID issuance without needing a DSHS letter.
