The program oversees nursing care for adults at the medical respite shelter located at Jefferson Terrace, specifically for those referred from a health care facility in King County. To initiate the process, a social worker or health care provider must reach out to the 'Respite Admissions Screener' at Harborview Medical Center, who will then approve a respite bed. Clients are required to check in by 5pm on the day of their admission, and the program staff will facilitate transportation to and from the respite beds.
Fees: The program accepts WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and Medicare, and also evaluates applicants for charity care.
