This program provides monthly cash assistance to individuals aged 62 and older and oversees Social Security numbers, claims, late checks, and applications.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can complete a retirement application either online or at a local office. They can also apply for a replacement Social Security card through the same methods. To utilize online services, users must register for an account on the Social Security website.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.

- Individuals aged 62 and above who have worked sufficiently to qualify for benefits. They can retire at 62 for a reduced benefit or wait until 65 for the full amount. Certain family members may qualify for benefits based on a deceased worker's record, such as a widow or widower aged 60 or older (50 or older if disabled), a caregiver for the deceased’s child under 16 or disabled, an unmarried child under 18 or developmentally disabled, and dependent parents aged 62 or older.
