People born in Washington State after July 1, 1907 are eligible to request certified copies of their birth certificates from this office. Death certificates for residents of Kitsap County are kept for a duration of three years.

Fees: The cost for birth and death certificates is $25 each, with an additional shipping and handling fee of $4.50 if the certificates need to be mailed.
