This program offers essential assistance for emergency transportation, funerals, medical and dental expenses, food, rent, education, utilities, disaster relief, and necessary vehicle repairs, exclusively for active duty and retired Sailors, Marines, and their families.
Intake Procedure: Service members or their eligible family members facing an emergency should reach out to the nearest NMCRS office to schedule an appointment with an NMCRS caseworker.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this assistance.

- Eligibility includes active duty and retired Navy and Marine Corps members, their family members, family members of deceased personnel, reservists on extended active duty, indigent mothers aged 65 or older of deceased service members, un-remarried ex-spouses of service members with at least 20 years of marriage, and NOAA uniformed members.
