Individual supported employment services assist those requiring extensive training and continuous support to find and maintain community employment.
Intake Process: A referral from a vocational counselor is needed, or individuals can call for further details.
Costs: Most individuals eligible for these services will have their expenses covered by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). They will collaborate with clients to determine how they can assist. If assistance is not possible and the client is receiving Social Security benefits, they can offer a work incentive plan to help cover service expenses and minimize costs.
