This program aids Washington state residents, including legal immigrants, by offering food benefits that supplement their income. The monthly benefits are determined by the household size, income, and living costs. Additionally, vouchers are issued to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview process. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to qualify for replacing food lost in the latest disaster.
