This organization facilitates the adoption of cats and dogs, assists in reuniting lost pets with their owners, and accepts both lost animals and pet surrenders. They run a monthly pet food pantry, cover up to $500 in veterinary expenses, and provide temporary housing and care for pets that are owned.
Intake Procedure: To get started, visit in person, send an email, or call to request an application, gather information on adoption, and confirm the current adoption fees. Shelter pets can also be found at local PetSmart locations.
Fees: Adoption fees vary depending on the animal.

- Applicants must be 18 years or older, capable of providing the necessary time and financial resources for training, medical care, and proper pet care. The Veterinary Assistance Fund is limited to low-income residents of Auburn and can only be accessed once in a lifetime. The Pets in Crisis program is available for owners facing temporary emergencies, such as housing loss or medical crises, providing an alternative to rehoming their pets.
