This initiative provides volunteers who assist low-income seniors and disabled adults with tasks such as yard work, minor home repairs, house cleaning, and laundry, contingent on volunteer availability.
Intake Procedure: For housekeeping, there is currently a wait list, and clients can call to be added. Yard care services are offered from May to September, and clients should call in March to secure a spot for summer assistance, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Minor home repairs can include very basic tasks like unplugging sinks or changing light bulbs, but moving assistance is not available at this time.
Fees: There are no charges for these services.
