This initiative offers volunteers to help transport low-income seniors aged 55 and above, along with adults who have disabilities. It does not cater to minors. Transportation is facilitated by volunteers using their own cars.
Intake Procedure: To begin, contact Access Pierce to fill out a transportation intake form. After the application is submitted, the client will be contacted by Volunteer Services to discuss the approval or denial of transportation assistance. Volunteer Services will send the client necessary documents to sign and return, and will provide instructions on how to arrange rides.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
