The program constructs homes for San Juan residents earning less than 80% of the Area Median Income, retaining ownership of the land while leasing it to buyers.
Intake Procedure: Complete an online application, acquire a credit report, and participate in an orientation session.
Fees: The costs depend on the type of housing required.

- Households in San Juan County with incomes below 80% of the Area Median Income are eligible. Debt must not exceed 41% of income. Homeowners must sell their property only to other qualifying families and limit annual appreciation to 1.5%, compounded yearly. A minimum of 50 hours of 'Sweat equity' is also required.
