This initiative aids the income of residents in Washington state, including those who are legal immigrants, by offering food assistance. The monthly benefits depend on the household size, income, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food that has been lost due to significant disasters.
Application Process: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, a letter will be sent detailing the interview process. Applicants must provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. To replace food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.
