This initiative provides individuals living in their vehicles a secure and organized environment for overnight parking and sleeping. The location changes every two weeks among five partner church sites in Mount Vernon. To be added to the waitlist, individuals should call or visit the day shelter.
Intake Procedure: Enrollment is mandatory, and availability is limited. To join the Safe Parking waitlist, reach out to the Welcome Home Skagit Day Shelter front desk either by phone or in person. Staff will inform applicants when a spot opens up and will provide details regarding eligibility, enrollment, program expectations, and subsequent steps.
Fees: There are no charges.
