This initiative allows low-income families to achieve homeownership. Groups of 5-10 families collaborate weekly until each household's home is finished, with tasks overseen by a construction supervisor.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can call or email to receive an application, which is also downloadable from the website.
Fees: Instead of a down payment, participants contribute sweat equity, and qualifying families may receive subsidized house payments.

- Applicants must have a verifiable income source, a two-year work history, a combined gross household income of at least $3,500 per month, manageable debt obligations, the ability to contribute to home construction, a credit score of 640 or higher, and must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Housing Hope also assists families in developing a personal action plan for qualification.
