This program investigates cases involving vulnerable and dependent adults, as well as adults with developmental disabilities, who are experiencing abuse, exploitation, neglect, or abandonment. It evaluates risk levels and connects individuals to legal and medical services. Participation in these services is voluntary.

- According to Washington state law, vulnerable adults include individuals aged 60 and older with a functional, mental, or physical inability to care for themselves, as well as those 18 and older with a legal guardian, a developmental disability, or those receiving care in facilities or through licensed services.
