Washington Student Achievement Council

This program offers scholarships aimed at low-income students for use at Washington's public, community, or technical colleges, as well as approved independent colleges or universities and private career schools. Students must enroll by June 30th of their 8th grade year.

Intake Process: Once a student is automatically registered and we have a valid mailing address, they will receive an official College Bound certificate. This certificate is not required for funding and does not ensure that a student will receive financial assistance; all eligibility criteria must be satisfied. Students and their families can verify enrollment in the College Bound program by reaching out to their school staff, who can access the College Bound Portal for an updated list of current participants. Our program staff is also available to confirm a student's enrollment status!
