- Applicants must have an income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and countable resources not exceeding $14,100 for individuals or $28,150 for couples living together. Exempt resources include primary residences, life insurance policies, burial plots, vehicles in use, and specific distributions for Alaskan Natives from their regional and village corporations. Enrollment in a Medicare prescription drug plan (PDP), such as Medicare Part D or a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) that covers prescriptions, is required.
