This program aids Washington state residents, including those with legal immigrant status, by offering food assistance. The monthly benefit amounts depend on household size, income, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost during significant disasters.
Application Process: Individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to request an application. Once the application, whether online or paper, is submitted, a letter will be sent outlining the interview process. Applicants must provide a Social Security number for each person listed on the application. To receive replacement benefits for food lost in the latest disaster, applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
