This initiative aids the income of residents in Washington state, including those who are legal immigrants, by offering food benefits. The monthly benefit amounts depend on the household size, income, and living costs. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost due to significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview process. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person included in the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to receive assistance for food lost in the latest disaster.
