About this resource
This program provides financial support for water service expenses to households that qualify based on income and are experiencing financial challenges. It extends assistance to both individuals with direct accounts and those living in residences where utilities are included in their rent or association fees.
Application Method: You can apply online, visit in person during designated hours, or send your application via mail (contact us to request a mailed form).
Cost: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- -Available to residents of single-family homes (SCMU account holders) and multi-unit buildings (apartments, mobile home parks, etc., where payment is made through rent, HOA fees, or third-party billing). -Income eligibility is required. -Participants must be enrolled in the PG&E CARE Program or a government assistance program such as Medi-Cal, Cal Fresh, WIC, SSI, CalWorks, or General Assistance.
