Medi-Cal provides crucial health care services for eligible low-income individuals and families. It covers a range of services including: -Ambulatory patient services -Emergency care -Hospital stays -Dental services, which encompass preventive and diagnostic care (Denti-Cal) -Maternity and newborn care -Mental health and substance use disorder services, including behavioral health treatment -Prescription medications -Rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices -Laboratory tests -Preventive and wellness services -Management of chronic diseases -Pediatric services (including oral and vision care) -Non-Emergency Medical Transportation is available for members on a case-by-case basis.
