This initiative provides loans to adults with low or no income to help cover essential needs such as housing, utilities, personal items, and transportation. It also extends support to unemployed individuals, those with disabilities awaiting Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits, and people facing homelessness.
Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted online via BenefitsCal, by calling the Benefits Call Center, or in person at a customer service center.
Fees: There are no associated fees.

- Available to Santa Cruz County residents aged 18 and above who have low or no income and lack other support, with the requirement to seek all other potential income sources.
