This service delivers law enforcement, crime investigation, detention, and corrections functions within Santa Cruz County. It maintains a 24-hour anonymous crime reporting line and actively recruits and trains volunteers to assist at the sheriff's office. These volunteers receive training for tasks such as data entry, taking crime reports, and addressing citizen inquiries both over the phone and in person at various centers.
