This program provides temporary partial wage replacement for individuals who find themselves unemployed due to circumstances beyond their control and who fulfill the criteria set by the Colorado Employment Security Act.
To initiate a claim, individuals can either visit the website or call for further details.
New claims can be submitted online at cdle.colorado.gov/unemployment/file-a-claim. If individuals are uncertain about their eligibility, they are encouraged to reach out to a supervisor for clarification. It is advisable to call at 8 a.m. for a higher likelihood of connecting with an operator, as call center wait times may extend up to an hour. A virtual assistant is also accessible via phone after standard business hours.
Who can use this
- Workers in Colorado who are partially or fully unemployed through no fault of their own and have earned a minimum of $2,500 are eligible.
