About this resource
This program provides support for utility bills that are overdue or at risk of being disconnected for customers of Black Hills Energy, Xcel Energy, Poudre Valley REA, and the City of Fort Collins.
Intake Procedure: To begin, individuals should call to arrange an appointment.
Travel/Location: Important information includes that utility assistance appointments are limited and scheduled weekly, with no walk-ins allowed. Customers receiving their utility bills electronically must bring a printed version; public libraries may provide access to computers and printers. Residents of Loveland will be directed to House of Neighborly Services first. Please note that utility assistance is not guaranteed and depends on available funding.

- Applicants must reside within the service area, and additional eligibility criteria may be applicable. Area Served: Larimer County.
