About this resource

This initiative provides emergency financial support for a maximum of one month to cover overdue rent, aimed at preventing eviction due to unexpected financial challenges.

Intake Procedure: To apply, visit the website during the 24-hour pre-application period. You can also call, text, or visit in person during office hours on the designated pre-application day for assistance.

Travel/Location: Please be aware that online pre-application forms will be accessible from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM on the specified day. Only one application is permitted per household; multiple submissions will be disqualified. Eligible applications are chosen randomly through a computer-generated process, and the timing of submission within the application window does not influence selection chances. All applicants will receive an email regarding their status within three business days. Those selected will get further instructions via email, but selection does not guarantee financial support. Individuals not selected can reapply the following month. For help with access or technology, please call or visit during office hours. Note that assistance cannot be provided to clients without income. The pre-application portal opens on the 2nd of each month, and if that date falls on a Friday, weekend, or holiday, it will open on the next business day: June 2nd, 2026, Tuesday; July 2nd, 2026, Thursday; August 3rd, 2026, Monday; September 2nd, 2026, Wednesday; October 5th, 2026, Monday.
