The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) aims to promote the well-being of income-qualified pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children under the age of 5. It offers an eWIC debit card for purchasing nutritious foods, personalized nutrition guidance, referrals to community services, and breastfeeding assistance, which includes breast pumps, supplies, lactation experts, peer counselors, support groups, and classes.
To apply, individuals can schedule an appointment with a local clinic by visiting coloradowic.gov/find-wic-clinic or submit an online referral form at healthinformatics.dphe.state.co.us/WICSignUp. A WIC representative will reach out within 10 days to determine eligibility and arrange an appointment.

- To qualify, individuals must reside in Colorado, meet specific income criteria, and fall into one of the following categories: currently pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding.

- Must provide: Identification for all family members applying for WIC Proof of address Proof of participation in Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations), or proof of income (e.g. paystub, tax return, letter from employer) Baby's growth measurements (height and weight) and hemoglobin levels. Growth measurements must be within the last 60 days.
