The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to cater to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It provides a range of services including evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, and commitments, along with service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it shares information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program assists children from birth to three years old who exhibit developmental delays, offering therapeutic, educational, and supportive services at no cost to families. This program also facilitates the transition to school services when the child turns three. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers services to adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development.
