Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy options such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies are available, along with information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to help families support their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. These Early Intervention Services address both the developmental needs of the child and the support requirements of the family. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in aiding children to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage more actively in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
