The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates allegations of child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and offers necessary services to address family needs. This program assesses and determines the validity of reported incidents, which may involve evaluations of family members and/or the affected child. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, abusers, and others involved, and there is no charge for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
