The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services to aid families in supporting their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. These early intervention services address both the child's developmental needs and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in assisting children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, feeding, and engaging in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, offering court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, and services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
