Nurse Family Partnership

Nurse Family Partnership connects registered nurses with low-income, first-time mothers early in their pregnancy. The program involves home visits for 30 months, continuing until the child reaches 2 years of age. It assists new mothers in developing effective parenting skills and promotes their children's social, emotional, and physical growth. Additionally, it guides clients in setting and achieving educational and career objectives, helps them establish a supportive network, and collaborates with community resources. This initiative has demonstrated its effectiveness over more than 30 years and is available in 34 states.
