Qualified Worker Retraining Program

This program, supported by the federal government through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), seeks to aid low-income, unemployed, or underemployed adults in finding rewarding employment by offering diverse resources such as job search assistance, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, career assessments, and short-term occupational training. Services are primarily in English, with interpreter services available if necessary.

Intake Procedure: An initial interview, either by phone or in person, is conducted to assess financial need for training or employment. If the candidate meets the initial eligibility criteria, they will be invited to the office to complete an application.
