The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides various services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it shares information about private service providers for developmental disabilities. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. It is supported by multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children with communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engagement in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program also offers services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
