The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Available programs include: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden and Landscape Management, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, Farm Financial Management, initiatives focused on launching or managing a small business, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, and Pesticide Applicator Training. Services are provided in English.
